Varnish builds up inside hydraulic systems, creating sludge deposits that can cause overheating, blocked filters, sticking valves, and system failures. To address this issue, HYDAC has developed a varnish elimination unit (VEU), which removes these degradation products by cooling the oil and separating the contaminants. This process restores the oil to a clean state, improves system reliability, and extends the lifespan of fluids, filters, and components, ultimately reducing maintenance costs and preventing unplanned downtime.
